MEALS ON WHEELS VOLUNTEERS GATHER

Mary Amess, Chairman of the Village Manor Meals on Wheels board, thanks the volunteers during the group’s annual coffee gathering. The group has approximately 35-40 full-time and substitute volunteers who deliver 25-30 noon meals seven days a week. The meals are prepared by the Village Manor dietary staff. The program began in 1971 and has not missed a day of delivering meals since it began. If you are interested in delivering meals or volunteering for the program, call 785-263-1126.
