 Tribute to Highlight President Eisenhower's 124th Birthday Celebration

ABILENE, Kan. - Tony Orlando will perform a live concert Saturday, Oct. 11, 2 - 5 p.m. on the grounds of the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home. The concert is the concluding event of the activities honoring the 124th birthday of President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

The event also features "On the Air," a tribute to Bob Hope and Radio Stars of the 1940s, starring Lynn Roberts and featuring Chuck Carson as the NBC Announcer. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for Active Duty Military and free for children. Advance tickets are on sale at the Eisenhower Presidential Library Gift Shop or by calling the Eisenhower Foundation, 785-263-6797.  

On the day of the event, tickets may be purchased with cash or check. Gates open at noon with all seating general admission, on a first-come basis. Ticket holders are asked to bring lawn chairs. Vendors will have food and beverages available for purchase.
The Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home, a nonpartisan federal institution, is part of the Presidential Libraries network operated by the National Archives and Records Administration. Presidential Libraries promote understanding of the presidency and the American experience.
