This year, the annual Arts Council of Dickinson County
fundraiser will combine presidential history with fine dining and a musical
performance. President Dwight Eisenhower's administration held numerous State
Dinners where dignitaries from around the world wined and dined while
discussing global policy and socializing. We have created an evening that
brings you an elegant four-course meal prepared by AppleMint Catering based on
White House menus, interesting tidbits of Eisenhower history, and a musical performance
featuring the Kansas Wesleyan University Chorale led by the Salina Symphony's
Maestro Ken Hakoda. Tickets are $65/person or $120/pair with $40/ticket being
tax-deductible; available by calling 785-263-1884 or contact
director@artscouncildc.org.
