MHS ATHLETIC TRAINER SERVING ON STATE BOARD

Clark’s main responsibilities as the Treasurer of KATS will consist of keeping the financial records and serving as a voting member on the state executive board. Justin will begin his duties as Treasurer on January 1, 2015 and serve for two years. During this past year Justin served KATS as part of the Executive Board in the position of PR Director.
KATS was founded in 1980 with a goal to advance the profession of Athletic Training in the State of Kansas and provide citizens of Kansas with increased knowledge of the profession.
Athletic trainers are regulated and licensed health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity of patients and clients. An Athletic Trainer’s work entails prevention, diagnosis and the treatment of emergent, acute, and chronic medical conditions concerning impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities.
Clark is a graduate of Emporia State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in health promotions with an emphasis on athletic training. Clark has been the Athletic Trainer for MHS Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine since 2006.
