Abilene Homes Tour December 6, 7
Features Restored Stone Barn, Schoolhouse
The annual Homes for the Holidays tour this year will include a vintage stone barn and 1907 school house that have been converted to homes. The tour will be December 6 and 7.There will be a candlelight tour from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6. The Sunday tour will be from 1 to 5 p.m.
Homes featured on the tour are 1608 N. Campbell, Veronica and Andy Murray; 2002 N. Mulberry, Bill and Andrea Clark; 118 NE 6th St., Chad and Becky Rufener; 1341 2200 Avenue (east on 1st Street from Abilene), Katie and Randy Purdue; and 2331 West St., Detroit, Jennifer and Andy Elliott.
Also on the tour will be St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 311 S. Buckeye, and the 1859 Volkmann Cabin, 412 S. Campbell, where refreshments will be served.
Tickets can be purchased at the Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau, 201 NW Second and the Heritage Center 410 S. Campbell.
