 “HEALTHY DIABETES COOKING” PRESENTED

Meta and Barry West, cooking class instructors, presented a healthy eating demonstration at the Dickinson County Diabetes Support Group meeting held recently at Memorial Hospital in Abilene.  Above, Meta prepares a “Salad Bread” recipe that those in attendance were able to taste for themselves.  Everyone received a copy of the recipe.  The Diabetes Support Group meets monthly and is open to anyone with diabetes.  For information contact Beth Helmerichs, Memorial Health System Dietitian, at 785-263-6676.
