Memorial Health System Scholarship Wards

HEALTH CARE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED

Brittnay Jenkins (left) is a recipient of a Memorial Health System health care scholarship.  Presenting the award is Brenda Moffitt, Memorial Health System Chief Nursing Officer.
Memorial Health System is pleased to announce that Brittnay Jenkins, Hope, has been awarded a nursing service scholarship. MHS will continue to serve as Brittnay’s sponsor while she finishes her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Emporia State University.  This scholarship is in conjunction with the Kansas Board of Regents.  Brittnay receives $1750 per semester.  In exchange, Brittnay will work for MHS one year for every year of MHS sponsorship. Brittnay plans to graduate in May 2016.

Memorial Health System awards up to $10,000 each year in scholarships to encourage and support careers in health care.

NURSING SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED

Haley Nelson (left) is a recipient of a Memorial Health System health care scholarship.  Presenting the award is Brenda Moffitt, Memorial Health System Chief Nursing Officer.
Memorial Health System is pleased to announce that Haley Nelson, Abilene, has been awarded a nursing service scholarship.  Memorial Health System will sponsor Haley in connection with the Kansas Board of Regents Scholarship.  Each semester Haley will receive $1750 while pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing at Brown Mackie College.

ASSISTANCE AWARDED TOWARD HEALTH CARE DEGREE  

Thomas Meuli (left) is the recipient of a gifting from Memorial Health System to assist in his education in a health care field.  Presenting the award is Brenda Moffitt, Memorial Health System Chief Nursing Officer.
Memorial Health System is pleased to announce that Thomas Meuli, Chapman, has been awarded a $500 gift to assist in his education in pre-Physical Therapy. Thomas is a senior at Chapman High School and will be attending Fort Hays State University in the fall.
